Le rock celtique de Caliorne a fait sensation

Belgique, Pologne... who's next ?

Deux nouvelles revues de Rock Noz Band, un an après sa sortie...

La première vient de Belgique, sur le blog Musique-Celtique.org, tenu par Jean-François Laschet. De nombreux autre artistes sont à découvrir, alors n'hésitez pas à visiter ses pages.

La deuxième a été rédigée en Pologne, par Rafał Chojnacki, sur le blog folkowa.art.pl. Comme l'auteur le suggère, nous serions bien sûr ravi d'aller jouer en Pologne ;-)

Alors d'où sera rédigé le prochain article sur Caliorne ?

Rock Noz Band chroniqué par Ethnotempos - juillet 2013

2 ans après avoir chroniqué "La démo", Didier Le Goff a écouté "Rock Noz Band" et nous livre ses impressions.
C'est sur Ethnotempos

Et entretemps, nous nous sommes rencontrés "en vrai" lors de notre passage à Lorient, lors du Festival Interceltique 2013 !

La critique de "Celtic Folk Punk"

L'excellent blog espagnol "Celtic Folk Punk" a rédigé une agréable critique de "Rock Noz Band"

"Even if The Chieftains released an album about Bretton music in 1987 and one of the biggest Celtic festivals in the world is held in Lorient (Brittany), the average Celtic fan is not familiar with the bands coming from this area. The likes of Alan Stivell, Dan Ar Braz and Kornog are well-known, together with newcomers such as Bretton punks Les Ramoneurs de Menhirs and 40 years old folk rock band Tri Yann. But other interesting Celtic rock outfits (Ar Re Yaouank, Wig a Wag …) are not well-known outside of France.
Caliorne is a 6 piece band that could fill this gap, playing the traditional airs of Bretton music (an dro, gavotte, laridé …) with a rock twist."

La French Touch de Caliorne

Un article à propos de "Rock Noz Band" en provenance de Portland USA, sur le site 67music.net, dédié à la promotion de la musique celtique.

"Rock Noz Band is the second full length release from the six-piece French group Caliorne. With a collaboration of genre-spanning musicians, which includes; folk and blues guitarists, a speed metal drummer, jazz keyboards, and piper François Marchal, Caliorne has developed their own unique Celtic sound. Admittedly, I was hoping to hear pint-pounding drinking songs sung in French, but instead, I was treated to ten well-crafted instrumentals that highlight the talents of each musician."
